Welcome to Pangolin Learning

I believe in the importance of leadership.  Without good leadership too many of us spend the majority of our waking hours trading our time for money in work that provides us with little meaning in our lives.  Great leaders give purpose and meaning to the work we do.  They create lives of significance and worth.  Little is more important.

So, whether you are a leader yourself, or responsible for their development then you have the most profound responsibility.  I work to support people as they grapple with what this means for themselves and those around them.

Leadership is not a question of what you can do.

Leadership is a question of who you can be....

Dan White

I have been working with leaders and teams for almost twenty years.

My clients are typically large organisations like GlaxoSmithKline, Jaguar Land Rover, The London School of Economics, Tesco and King's College London.  I live in London but work all around the world.  Unfortunately I am typically British in being totally unable to speak anything but English.

I am not terribly corporate and perhaps a little irreverent - but please do not mistake that for my not taking things seriously, indeed I like to work fast and try to get straight to the point.  My time is your money.

I believe PowerPoint is the answer to very, very few questions.

If you judge someone by how they tie their tie, the number of buttons on their suit sleeves or how shiny their shoes are, I might not be the consultant for you.  Expect chinos, jovial directness and a folding bike.

What I do

Facilitation

From large scale events to intimate team meetings.  I really enjoy working through the tough stuff with teams when having that independent external perspective can help so much.

Leadership

From senior executive to graduate.  From one hour learning nudge to multiple component 12-month development programme.

Underpinning everything is a strong belief in the power of practice, interaction, coaching and feedback.  Minimal teach, very minimal slides.  Theory only when it helps.

Leadership

I don't believe we have a women in leadership issue.  We have a men in the home issue.  We expect women to succeed more at work and yet still manage households.

This isn't equality.  We need to start talking about men
